Assignment to assist you in finishing your review for next class: Ask yourself, Have I written about each of the aspects of the movie/show/product/event that I think make it better or worse? Remember to tell the full story, not just the parts that back up your overall opinion. (For example, a movie can be a great  and still have some flaws.  Your ability to be fair in revealing weaknesses and strengths makes your opinion more valuable to the reader. ) Then, for each point/claim that you make, write at least one full paragraph that does the following:
  • opens with a topic sentence that says what the paragraph is about;
  • has several detail sentences that prove the point you are trying to make;
  • uses quotes or examples from the book, movie, product, etc., if possible, to help prove your point.
